If you've ever applied for an artist grant or residency you have probably experienced the challenge of summarizing your art powerfully and convincingly in a predetermined set of characters. Fundraising is more than sharing images of your work; it involves clarifying your goals, creating budgets, relaying your marketing plans, and convincing a panel of unknown jurors that you will use their grant money to great effect.
In this grantwriting workshop you'll have the opportunity to examine both successful and unsuccessful grant proposals, learn strategies for convincing wordsmanship, and practice techniques for successfully positioning your artistic pursuits.
